I just spent approximately 45 minutes comprehensively engrossed in looking at pre-forclosure properties in Malibu. When I came to I was all like…Montana? Married? What? THAT feeling. That’s how into it I was.
Then I decided to find out what exactly is the dealio on pre-foreclosures, foreclosures, auctions etc.
You can get some crazy good deals if you are 1) ballsy and b) charismatic as fuck.
Also, 420 words on my ‘novel’ this evening. stopping there for luck, brah.
Just before her sixth birthday, Elena Desserich was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 135 days to live. She lived 255 days, passing away in 2007. After her death, Elena’s parents, Brooke and Keith, found hundreds of notes from Elena hidden around the house — in between CD cases, between bookshelves, in dresser drawers, in backpacks…

weird experience peeps. I’m eatin one right now. Still weird. Though not unpleasant.
Spider Jerusalem. See large.
Accidentally spilled wine on Spider’s crotch whilst drawing, which seems to have improved the illustration immensely. Still not sure how I feel about that.
I’ve noticed that some people on the internet (whether its Gawker boards or WoW forums or here) just live to argue. Like they just wait around and they’ll argue about anything.
Literally anything to do with everything. They jump on the smallest or largest of issues. A missed comma or a racist remark.
And I’ve come to realize that’s why no one listens to them or takes much of what they say seriously, because they are freaking out about everything all. the. time. There’s no way to determine the severity or importance of the argument because they will argue to the death about everything from the misspelling of the word ‘weird’ to the realities of sexism in the workplace.
Chances are they’re like this in real life too. Constantly contrary, always criticizing, not picking or choosing their battles. Not realizing that being vocal is remarkable in it’s absence. Right? I mean if you’re always marching around screaming about every damn thing, how can we know what to listen to? Eventually we just tune all of it out.
Chances are they think no one wants to listen to some of the very legitimate issues they champion and some of the very real concerns they have, but I think in many cases it’s just that no one wants to listen to them. Again.
