Daily Chart: Who strikes the most? Following a week of strikes in Europe, our research team totted up the countries worst hit by industrial action in 2009. Curiously, Canada topped the chart - and by a huge margin. via theeconomist: bespangled

This is in no way ‘curious’ to anyone who’s lived there.  Why is this curious?  OH RIGHT!!! Cause it’s the awesome land filled with everything awesome where everything is great and nothing is bad.  OH RIGHT I FUCKING FORGOT.

ETA: The comments on the economist are hilarious!  All Canadians predictably whining about why the chart is wrong and how unfair it is peppered with a few anti-Quebec sentiments.  shocking. I am simply shocked.  How’s that fucking bubble of self-delusion working out for y’all?  eh?  How’s that working out?  Seems to be accomplishing quite a bit!  Good for you!
