So, in case you people have lives and don’t know what I’m talking about, apparently she was caught saying this thing:

My husband cannot f – - – - – - throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.

Which. I’m sorry, is that not true? Is there a person who can throw and receive at the same time? You can throw the ball all you want but to win the game people have to be there to recieve it and then hold on to it and hopefully run with it. And that’s not actually part of his job, most of the time. That’s a fairly basic understanding of how football works.

It seems like a pretty innocuous if not entirely true statement to make. I mean. She’s right! So she got all huffy in an effort to defend her husband, to her friend in what was likely a very emotional moment. I mean, I’m no Tom Brady fan but what is the issue here, exactly?  Heaven forfend she have an opinion about something that she was personally invested in! What nerve! And to say it to a personal friend! How gauche!

Do we really not have enough shit to be cranky about that we’ve resorted to manufacturing patently ridiculous ‘offenses’ now?

Christ on a cracker.
