She is just the worst. She has no eye. No sense of avant garde. No sense of style. She consistently and without fail elevates the most boring, non descript, vaguely cotillion-esque dresses and outfits and then disparages anyone who takes a chance with fashion or works outside of the box.

I would really like to know for whom she is speaking for exactly? From what perspective is she coming? The Matronly Georgia Ladies Who Lunch set? The Couldn’t Move On From Daria Club? Because that’s all I can gather from each and every one of her columns (her writing is boring too but it’s the fashion stuff that really raises my hackles)

THEY REALLY NEED TO HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE FASHION BITS because her lack of insight into fashion and style is just embarrassing.  She clearly has no idea what she’s even talking about.  There are so many people out there who would do it in such a thoughtful, insightful, entertaining way like oh, say, me.
